• Save and sync your products and wishlists across devices
• Send price drop notifications for products you're tracking

Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using industry-standard encryption. We use Firebase and Google Cloud Platform services to store and process your information. All data transmitted between your device and our servers is encrypted using TLS/SSL.

On-Device Storage

The app stores some data locally on your device to provide a fast, offline-capable experience. This includes cached product data, authentication tokens, and your preferences. This data stays on your device and is cleared when you uninstall the app.

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your data only in the following circumstances:

• With your consent: When you choose to share wishlists with other users
• Service providers: With trusted third-party services that help us operate our app (e.g., cloud hosting, analytics)
• Legal requirements: When required by law or to protect our rights

Social Features

Wishary includes social features such as following other users and sharing wishlists. When you use these features:

• Your public profile (username, display name, avatar) is visible to other users who follow you or view your shared wishlists
• Your follower and following lists are visible on your profile
• Wishlists you mark as public can be viewed by anyone with the link or through Explore

You can control your visibility using Ghost Mode, private profile, and Explore settings in the app.

Third-Party Integrations

Wishary integrates with the following third-party services:

• Meta (Instagram) oEmbed API: We use Meta's oEmbed API to display Instagram Reel thumbnails and metadata when users attach video reviews to products. Only publicly available metadata (thumbnail URL, title, author name) is retrieved. Thumbnails are cached temporarily for performance. No Instagram user data or content is permanently stored.
• Firebase (Google): For authentication, push notifications, crash reporting (Crashlytics), and app attestation (App Check). Crash reports may include a pseudonymous user identifier to help us diagnose issues.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access your personal data
• Update or correct your information
• Delete your account and associated data
• Export your data
• Opt out of marketing communications
• Withdraw your consent at any time by deleting your account

When you create an account or log in, we record your acceptance of this Privacy Policy along with the policy version and timestamp.

Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal information within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal purposes.

Children's Privacy

Wishary is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
